Laura Simmonds has spent a number of years working with various projects, both in the UK and globally, that focus on working with individuals and families from deprived backgrounds and communities. These include children and family centered projects in India and Brazil, and subsequently with vulnerable and exploited women in the UK. A passion for equality and justice, combined with these experiences, has lead Laura into her current post were she works as Information and Resources Officer for Stop The Traffik, a global coalition of organisations working to prevent people trafficking, prosecute traffickers and protect the victims of trafficking.
