Vanessa Haworth is Programmes Manager: Community, Public and Young Tate at Tate Liverpool where she has delivered a range of outreach and partnership based projects, contributed to Tate for All Diversity group and is currently developing a forthcoming collaborative project across the city.

Prior to this Vanessa worked as Community Programmes Curator also at Tate Liverpool (2006); and on a freelance basis as Project Leader for West Bank Heritage Project, Widnes (2005); Community Liaison Officer for Handbridge Community Association, Chester (2004 – 2005); Project Manager for ‘The Peter Saville Show’ and ‘D:Troit’ at Urbis, Manchester (2003 – 2004), Exhibitions and Education Assistant for ‘Bad Behaviour’, Arts Council Collection at Longside, YSP (2003), Research Intern at Henry Moore Institute, Leeds (2003), Project Evaluator for ‘Fabrications’, Urban Memory in Manchester Team, Manchester University and CUBE (2002 – 2003). Her qualifications include BA: History of Modern Art, University of Manchester (1999 – 2002); MA: Art Gallery and Museum Studies, University of Manchester (2002 – 2003), Certificate in Leading Sustainable Communities, RENEW North West (2006 – 2007).
